Aranya Studio (Zürich)

ARANYA (आरण्य ) is a word from the ancient Indian language Sanskrit. Aranya means forest and wilderness or belonging to the forest.

The forest stands as a symbol for the whole world. The trees that form the forest are and interconnected and in contact. A communal unit that creates a basis of life for other beings, which in turn care for, nourish and regulate the forest. A networked order in which each has its place. So it is with the world, everything is connected with each other. Nothing can exist alone. Aranya stands for the connectedness with nature, with the inner being core and the environment.

This basic idea accompanies us in the ARANYA Studio.
