Académie de danse Fabienne Rebelle Vouilloz (Martigny)

The Académie de danse was founded in 1978 by its current director, Fabienne Rebelle Vouilloz, in Martigny (Switzerland). It offers classical, modern, jazz and gym Méthode dance classes for children aged 3 and over, teenagers and adult amateurs of all levels. Every two years, the Academy presents its work to the general public through a themed show. The "La Traversée" company was also created in 2001, enabling the most enthusiastic students to perform on stage more frequently (revues, competitions, various presentations, etc.).

I've strung ropes from steeple to steeple, garlands from window to window, golden chains from star to star, and I dance.

A FEW WORDS ABOUT THE DIRECTOR

A dancer and choreographer, Fabienne graduated as a dance teacher from the Centre d'Art Chorégraphique de Ginette Bastien (France). She is currently a member of :

• of the Committee of the Swiss Federation of Dance Schools (FSED) ;
• the International Dance Council (CID - UNESCO), since 2002;
• Danse Suisse since 2009.

As dance evolves with the times, its trends and its music, Fabienne pursues advanced courses with internationally renowned teachers such as Bruno Vandelli, Olivier Coste, Sylvie Le Quéré, Rehda, Wayne Barbaste, Bruce Taylor, Jorma Uotinen and others. She also works at the Alvin Ailey and Broadway Dance Centers in New York.
